The Stories Beckon

In the olden time, that is here and now
In a land far off, but not far away
There the story dwells in the quiet night
'Till new tellers come who will brave the stage
And lift the story from the page
Come we will catch them you and I
Upon the story we will fly
From the edge of sleep to the dawn of day
Let the stories live, learn what they say
For in silence they sleep for tellers to come
Awaiting them always, will you be one?

Recently I've been playing with prosthetics and making myself into an orc.
I started with playdough since flower + water = glue, if you wet playdough a little it will stick to your face.

The playdough recipe is on the cream of tartar tin:

  • 2 cups plain flower
  • 4 tbs Cream of Tatar
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 tbs cooking oil
  • Food colouring if desired

Method: Mix all ingredients together and kneed till a nice consistency

Here's a video and images of my learning journey:
